The Berlin Vodka
The 7fold filtered and 5fold distilled Berliner Brandstifter Vodka is won from French sugar beets of the highest quality. Refined with blossoms and botanicals local to the capital, Berlin Vodka takes you on a stroll through the city’s wild gardens. The senses are invited to enjoy the familiar scent of wild roses, elderflowers, violet root, blackcurrant and cornflowers as they are greeted by the vodka’s ever-so-subtle floral and fruity notes.
The Vodka is awarded by German Design Award as Special 2017.
The Production Process
The blossoms and botanicals are cultivated and harvested by hand on the Berliner Speisegut farm. The Berliner Brandstifter Vodka is produced in Berlin in limited batches of 999 bottles. To allow its fine aromas to fully unfold, each batch spends several weeks resting in a 700 liter stainless steel cask. When it reaches point of perfection, the vodka is then carefully bottled and numbered by hand; ready to be enjoyed.
With a relatively high ABV of 43.3%, it comes as a pleasant surprise that this fine spirit manages to stay true to Berliner Brandstifter’s characteristic mild taste. The secret? The complex 7fold filtration process and commitment to ingredients of the highest quality.
From the very first sip, the Berlin Vodka reveals its multifaceted character as it tells the palate a beautiful story. The prologue makes its introduction to the nose by capturing the first scent of floral aromas. The elderflower and blackcurrant position themselves as the protagonists, in the pleasant company of wild rose, violet root and cornflower. Moving on into the mouth, the complexities of the plot unfold, as notes of pure alcohol are paired with a rich yet fruity body. The vodka’s story ends poetically on a powerful and inspiring note. It is truly a member of the Berliner Brandstifter family.
To enjoy the Berliner Brandstifter Vodka, we recommend keeping it classic with soda water on ice.
